The changes that time can bring about: aftermaths of form.

I reflect on time itself and what it might reveal. These reflections are represented through material. My practice is a process of discovery and understanding — using matter to grasp the presence of time and the traces it leaves behind.

One rainy day, I watched water dripping onto concrete and thought, “I am not that.” In that heavy, inert mass, I sensed the fact of my own aliveness. The philosopher Ernst Bloch once described this state as not-yet-being — a becoming, a life still unfolding toward what it could be. There are different kinds of “time.” I don’t know them all yet. Spending time with their silence, and what’s left behind.
